This work of art was a direct result of a small but effective speech given to me by sir. Thing is - i used to go to him and wail away my time there - though i really enjoyed it - and one day he decided that it's time i understood the value of time. So he called me outside and gave me a thrashing and at the end of it made me realize - "nothing in this world is your but time" .
Just prior to this we were discussing about his paintings and the subjects he has touched upon, and we came to the subject of time. He said it is too abstract for portrayal so i decided to give it a shot. Hence it was a combination of these to events that gave me matter to work upon. Though in the end i couldn't portray time individually and had to take help of regret I:) :D ...
One of the most important things for me is to get some input from my surrounding. Input as in something to think about, something i can work upon. Sir always gave inputs. Another driving force in my artwork is music. It so deeply affects me that i can almost loose interest midway in the work I'm doing if the music is of another type of genre~!
